This privacy policy is the default for all Shota Services, except those with their own dedicated privacy statement/policy.

ShotaServices aims to collect as little personal information as possible. This privacy policy is here to try and help you get an idea as to the small amount of information we might collect.

We use the information we collect in various ways, including to:

Log Files

• Nginx access logs are disabled (unless stated otherwise below), and error logs are critical only.
• For our Akkoma instance Shota.house Nginx access logs are stored in RAM and purged after 1 minute. This is to prevent abuse and assist with error diagnosis.
• For our Send instance upload.shota.services Nginx access logs are stored in RAM and purged after 1 minute. This is to prevent abuse.
• For shota.house and mg.shota.house Nginx access logs are stored in RAM and purged after 1 minute. This is to prevent abuse. We also store the necessary information required by the Akkoma/Mangane software to provide the service to you.
• For our SearXNG Instance, metrics are disabled and all logs go to /dev/null/
• For our URL Shortener, long & short URLs are stored in order to properly handle redirection. We check shortened URLs and will remove them if they link to illegal content.
